This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Report of Injury or Illness Transaction Set (148) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The transaction set can be used to report information pertaining to an injury or illness to entities interested in the information for statistical, legal, and claims processing requirements.
